Foreign and European Affairs Minister Jean Asselborn will take part in the informal meeting of the EU’s General Affairs Council, which will take place on 3 and 4 March in Arles.
The meeting will begin with a working dinner on Thursday evening and continue the following day with several working sessions. This informal meeting in Arles should allow Minister Asselborn and his European counterparts to have an in-depth exchange of views on the European Union’s response to Russian military aggression in Ukraine. Discussions on the protection of the rule of law within the EU as well as on the conference on the future of Europe will also be on the agenda.
