JD.ID lays off 200 employees, twice a year

For affected individuals, JD.ID will continue to provide a number of rights. One of them is providing insurance benefits for employees affected by layoffs.

“JD.ID further pledges to continue to provide support to the 200 (30%) affected employees by continuing to provide insurance benefits and provide support in the form of talent promotion, as well as other rights in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,” He has explained.

This step is just seven months after the previous layoffs. At the time, JD.ID Chief Executive Officer Jenie Simon explained that the decision was made in the context of improvisational efforts and decision making to adapt and align with market dynamics and national industry trends.
