JCI Weak, Asian Stocks Red, Wall Street Worst, What’s This?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) has moved lower this week. The JCI is in line with the major Asian stock indexes.

Yesterday, the JCI closed at 6,601.93. Up 0.11% from the previous day.

Thus, the JCI posted a 0.77% correction this week on a point-to-point basis. In the previous week, the JCI managed to rise 1.75%.

The total volume of stock transactions this week was 117.01 million units. It’s quieter than last week’s 128.29 million units.

Meanwhile, transaction volume also decreased to 6.55 million times from 6.61 million times. Automatically, the transaction value also decreased to Rp 62.62 trillion from Rp 75.15 trillion.

On the stock market, foreign investors posted net sales of Rp 2.12 trillion. Whereas last week there was a net purchase of Rp 4.12 trillion.
