JCI turned down 0.10% at the end of the first session Monday (9/11), foreigners scored a net buy

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) weakened at the end of trading session I, Monday (9/11). IHSG edged down 5.55 points or 0.10% to 5,329.98 at 11.30 WIB this afternoon.

Five sectors weakened and five sectors still strengthened. Even though the number of sectoral indices was balanced, the various industrial sectors which fell 2.47% added to the pressure on the JCI. The manufacturing sector fell 0.78%. The consumer goods sector fell 0.57%. Basic industrial sector eroded 0.30% and the construction sector fell 0.16%.

The infrastructure sector is still up 0.61%. The mining sector strengthened 0.60%. The plantation sector strengthened 0.32%. Trade and services sector rose 0.23%. Meanwhile the financial sector edged up 0.11%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 8.28 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 5.82 trillion. There are 225 stocks that are still strengthening this afternoon. A total of 178 shares fell in price and 176 shares were flat.

Top gainers LQ45 until this afternoon are:

  • PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) 2,84%
  • PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) 2,67%
  • PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) 2,50%

Top losers LQ45 consists of:

  • PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) -3,43%
  • PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) -2,58%
  • PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) -2,32%

Foreign investors took note net buy IDR 106 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net purchases are PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 176.8 billion, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) Rp 26.1 billion, and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) IDR 15.4 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net sales are PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) IDR 43 billion, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) IDR 20.4 billion, and PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) Rp 19.8 billion.
