JCI strengthened 2.58% in the week to 5,053.66 until Friday (9/10)

ILLUSTRATION. Friday (9/10), the JCI strengthened 14.52 points or 0.29% to 5,053.66 at the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) completes the last trade of the week in positive territory. This means that for a week or five consecutive trading days the JCI continues to strengthen.

Friday (9/10), IHSG strengthened 14.52 points or 0.29% to 5,053.66 at the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Within a week, JCI rose 2.58%.

Although the JCI strengthened today, only four sectors were recorded to have strengthened. The mining sector advanced 1.17%. The plantation sector strengthened 1.16%. The financial sector rose 0.76%. The infrastructure sector rose 0.62%.

The construction and property sector actually fell 0.55%. Basic industrial sector eroded 0.53%. The trade and services sector fell 0.20%. The manufacturing sector corrected 0.19%. Miscellaneous industry and consumer goods sectors fell 0.09% and 0.02%, respectively.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 8.70 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 5.48 trillion. A total of 224 stocks rose to close the market. There are 196 stocks that have fallen in price and 165 flat shares.

Top gainers LQ45 today is:

  • PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) 6,25%
  • PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) 5,43%
  • PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (LANGUAGE) 4,74%

While top losers LQ45 consists of:

  • PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) -2,85%
  • PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) -1,88%
  • PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) -1,33%

Foreign investors took note net sell IDR 89.53 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales are PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 37 billion, PT Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (UNIQUE) IDR 36.9 billion, and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) IDR 33.4 billion.

Shares with net purchase (net buy) the largest foreigner is PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) IDR 85.2 billion, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) IDR 28.8 billion, and PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) Rp 22 billion.
