KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed down 0.14% to as low as 6,104.32 in Friday trading (18/12). However, in a week from 14-18 December 2020, the JCI was still up 2.8%.
Quoting RTI data, foreigners recorded a net sell or net sale of quite large value this weekend, namely Rp 2.66 trillion in all markets in a day.
However, during the strike, foreigners also recorded a net sell of Rp 1.46 trillion in all markets. However, in the regular market, foreigners recorded a net buy of Rp 1.01 trillion in a week.

So in this week, foreign investors have collected the most shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 1.47 trillion. BBCA shares also rose 0.97% to the level of Rp 34,000 in a week. BBCA’s total share transaction volume reached 181.27 million with a transaction value of Rp 6.19 trillion.
The second position that became the top stock most chased by foreigners is PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) IDR 544.92 billion. Hunted by foreigners, ASII shares rose 9.25% in the week to Rp 6,200 per share. The total transaction volume of ASII shares reached 295.34 billion with a transaction value of Rp 2.97 trillion.
The third position is occupied by PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) with IDR 457.28 billion. Even though it was bought by foreigners, within a week the price of SMMA’s shares had actually dropped 2.08% to Rp 11,750 per share. The total transaction volume of SMMA shares reached 53.68 million with a transaction value of IDR 641.66 billion.

Meanwhile, shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) also bought by foreigners Rp. 169.66 billion in a week. But BBRI’s shares closed flat at Rp 4,280 per share, or the same as last week’s closing price. The total transaction volume of BBRI’s shares reached 833.34 million with a transaction value of Rp 3.53 trillion.
