Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) corrected 0.77 percent this week (22-26 June 2020). Amid the IHSG downturn, SOE shares incorporated in the IDXBUMN20 index posted a slight increase of 0.13 percent.
JCI recorded parking at position 4,904,088 at the end of trading Friday (6/6/2020). The IDXBUMN20 index closed at 281,889. This index contains 20 state-owned shares owned by the state and regional governments.
Among the 20 index member shares, 9 shares gained, 11 shares weakened, and 1 share stagnated. PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. listed as the most outstanding index occupant with an increase of almost 9 percent. The shares of PT Bukit Asam Tbk. plunged with a 9.5 percent correction.
In particular, the increase in Bank BTN shares in the past week was only supported by a rise in one day, namely on June 24, 2020. In the remaining four sessions, BTN shares have always been corrected.
On June 24, 2020, BTN shares rose 11.98 percent or almost 12 percent. At that time BTN shares were traded at 429.73 million shares with a transaction value of Rp509.27 billion.
The increase in Bank BTN shares occurred simultaneously with the announcement of the placement of government funds in state-owned banks, including BTN. The total funds of Rp30 trillion previously placed at Bank Indonesia are now parked at state-owned banks to encourage the real sector in the context of national economic recovery.
President Director of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Pahala Nugraha Mansury said that as much as 40 percent of the total funds placed by the government would be distributed to the subsidized housing loan segment.
“The commitment of the funds placed, we will expand three times the amount placed in BTN and our focus 40% will be channeled to subsidized KPR,” he said, Wednesday (06/24/2020).
