JCI jumped 2.05% at the end of trading Thursday (1/10) after losing 3 days in a row

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) surged after falling in the previous three trading days. Thursday (1/10), IHSG strengthened by 100.05 points or 2.05% to 4,970.09 at the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

All sectoral indices rose along with the JCI. The infrastructure sector shot 4.97%. Miscellaneous industrial sector rose 2.80%. The financial and plantation sectors each rose 2.66%. Basic industrial sector rose 2.28%.

The mining sector strengthened 1.46%. The manufacturing sector rose 1.45%. The construction and property sector rose 0.71%. The consumer goods sector strengthened 0.68%. The trade and services sector rose 0.11%.

The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 12.71 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 7.19 trillion. A total of 295 stocks rose. There are 127 shares down and 136 shares in flat.

  • PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) 8,37%
  • PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) 7,42%
  • PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) 5,88%

Top losers LQ45 consists of:

  • PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) -1,62%
  • PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) -0,93%
  • PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) -0,41%

Foreign investors took note net sell thin IDR 9.33 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales are PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR) IDR 27.8 billion, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) IDR 27.7 billion, and PT United Tractors Tbk (Untrim) IDR 25.1 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net purchases are PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) Rp. 116.2 billion, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 51.8 billion, and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) IDR 37.8 billion.
