KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) narrowed the decline at the close of trading at the end of March 2021. Citing RTI data, Wednesday (31/3), JCI closed down 1.42% or 85.92 points to a level of 5,985.52 at the end of trading.

Thus, the JCI has left the 6,000 level. Nine out of 10 sectors are flushed. The basic industrial sector, finance and various industries fell the most in suppressing the JCI rate. Each of these sectors corrected 2.76%, 2.28% and 1.82%. Only the infrastructure sector edged up 0.28% at the end of trading.

The total trading volume on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reached 14.42 billion with a total transaction value of IDR 12.16 trillion. There are 396 stocks that fell, 118 stocks that went up and 120 stocks whose value did not change.

Foreign investors noted net sell amounting to Rp 1.11 trillion in all markets and in the regular market, foreigners also booked net sell amounting to Rp. 1.03 trillion.

Most foreign investors sell shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 470.8 billion. BBRI’s shares also fell 2.22% to Rp 4,400 per share. BBRI’s total share trading volume reached 296.2 million with a transaction value of Rp 1.3 trillion.

Foreigners also sell shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 452.1 billion. BBCA’s shares also fell 2.81% to Rp 31,075 per share. BBCA’s total share trading volume reached 45.3 million with a transaction value of IDR 1.4 trillion.

Shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) also on sale by foreigners amounting to Rp. 99.2 billion. BBNI’s shares also fell 1.29% to Rp 5,725 per share. The total trading volume of BBNI’s shares reached 60.8 million with a transaction value of IDR 355.7 billion.
