In 2022, JCDecaux’s turnover reached 3.316 billion euros, up +20.8% and at +16.6% in organic growth. Its net profit is 132.1 million euros.
By activity, advertising on transport sites (stations and airports) as well as on street furniture rebounded the most strongly with growth of more than 20%. These two categories are followed by billboards, which recorded an increase of +15.9% and +13.5% organically to reach €494.3 million in sales.

At the geographical level, all regions, except Asia-Pacific, are growing at double digits, including France (+12.3%), the United Kingdom (+27.4%), the rest of the Europe (+19.9%) or North America (+64.8%).
Launch of a Climate Strategy
In addition to its financial results, JCDecaux also unveiled the launch of a new Climate Strategy, called committed SBTi. This strategy includes proactive commitments to continue to optimize the group’s carbon footprint, by reducing its scope 1 and 2 emissions by 60% and its scope 3 emissions by 46% by 2030. The objective is to reach Net Zero by 2050 (scopes 1, 2 and 3).
First semester 2023
For the first quarter of 2023, the group forecasts a slowdown in its growth “around +2.5%” at constant exchange rates and perimeter, and “a double-digit drop in turnover in China”, where the The Covid-19 epidemic has continued in recent months to weigh down the group’s activity despite the lifting of mobility restrictions.
However, the horizon seems to be brightening from March in the country, and China “will recover in the second quarter with great vigor, all activities combined, with a small flat on international transport which takes longer to restart”, according to Jean-Charles Decaux.
