JAZZ Valhalla will be visited by the big boys on NOVEMBER 12:
Klāvs Ābols – pianist, composer, pedagogue. Graduated from Tallinn Academy of Music. Jazz piano teacher at Rezekne Music High School.
Pēteris Ancveriņš – Jazz saxophonist, composer. Grand Prix winner at the Alfredo Casella Composition Competition in Italy. Graduated from Tallinn Academy of Music. He is currently studying jazz saxophone at the Latvian Academy of Music.
Reinis Ozoliņš – jazz double bassist and composer, has collaborated in various genres with such musicians as Kristīne Prauliņa, Deniss Paškevičs, Toms Rudzinskis, Kaspars Kurdeko, Toms Mikāls and others. He is currently studying for a master’s degree in composition at the Latvian Academy of Music.
Reinis Zariņš – jazz drummer. Graduated from the Riga Dome Choir School. Studied as a bachelor in England at the Guidhall School of Music.
