The Carmel neighbourhood is in luck! One of the flagship cycles of the CC El Carmel is celebrating its tenth anniversary. For a decade, the facility on Santuari Street has been kicking off the year with a delicious proposal: the Jazz Tast. The cycle is a combination of live musical performances and the offer of a tapa and a drink for €3.
The first date is the Concert with musical bingo (Plaça Pastrana, 28/09 – 12.00 h), a time of musical hits by Los Kowalsky and Llum Pérez as master of ceremonies.
The main course, without a doubt, is the Cercatapes musical (CC El Carmel, 03/10 – 19.00 h). The parade, following in the footsteps of the tireless company Trastorners and the music of Los Boozan Dukes, passes through the bars Agreste (c/ de Funoses – Llussà, 2. Barcelona), Galeón, El reencuentro and Els colors de l’Eva to celebrate the end on the terrace of the Biblioteca del Carmel – Juan Marsé with electroswing and dance songs.
If you follow the Cercatapas route, take the opportunity to stamp the passport they will give you. It is a ticket to participate in the raffle for a vermouth concert for two people!
The Jazz Tast also has options for children! The Jazz Tast Kids (Plaça Salvador Allende, 06/10 – 11.00 h) presents the concert – workshop Electro Magic with the saxophonist Llibert Fortuny. At midday, the ten candles will be blown out at the Vermouth Jazz Tasting (10/06 – 12:00 p.m.), entertained by the Sant Andreu Dixie Jazz Band.
The tenth edition is completed, as every year, with the Jazz Tast & Friendsthe music-gastronomic proposals of the district’s facilities. For example, the two concerts on Friday with the Trio Arnau Torné (CC Guinardó, 27/09 – 19.00 h) and The moonrivers (CC Teixonera, 27/09 – 19.00 h), which will do the next day the 3/4 of Trio (CC Casa Groga, 28/09 – 12.30 h) or those of Luna Orleans Trio (Multipurpose Hall of Montbau, 03/ 10 – 19.00 h) and Last Minute (Neighborhood House Font d’en Fargues, 04/10 – 20.00 h).
