The Rodek Balázs Trio was founded in February 2018, their repertoire consists of the band leader and the members’ own compositions. In 2020, they won a professional special award at the MÜPA Jazzshowcase weekend, their first studio album was released in October 2022 under the title Song of the day, and it tells the story of a day as program music. Their second album was released in March 2023 under the title Dialogues, it was recorded as a live concert album, and they are currently working on material for their third album.
This evening, they will begin their eight-stop national tour: at the concert, the audience will be able to hear compositions from their albums released so far, as well as from their upcoming new album, with many chamber music ensembles, collective improvisations, in a classic jazz-trio lineup.
