Jayaram opens up about not getting the state award for best actor. Jayaram said that in many cases there were stages where he was sure that he would get the award and when it was announced it would be someone else. He said on Manorama News’ ‘Nere Chowve’ that this has been happening for ages and he is not new to it.
He revealed that he had to do many unnecessary films because he could not say no. Jairam said that it was difficult for him to say no to someone’s face and later he started feeling that it would affect his career.
I will be the best actor till ten o’clock
Media gets the news the fastest. There was a time when the media came to my house with a live van. I told them that I definitely won’t get it. They said we will get the information early, it is Jayaram. Even before this, even when many films came out, I was the best actor till ten o’clock.
