Jason Mewes and his wife Jordan Monsanto have just joined their family.
The couple, who attended the wedding of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in Georgia last year, welcomed their son Lucien Lee Mewes on Sunday, February 12, the actor revealed in a touching Instagram post.
Lucien weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces. and he was 19½ inches at birth and joined his seven-year-old sister, Logan Lee.
“Fast and furious… almost crashed into the back seat of my car at the hospital driveway,” the 48-year-old Jay and Silent Bob star captioned a series of photos of the birth of his son.
‘Thank you to our doula @iamhaizehawke, Dr. Campbell and the team at Cedars-Sinai for the safe delivery of the baby. We are home and mom and baby are doing great. Our lives change forever. I slept less than last week, but it was worth it, ”he added.

The couple first shared the news that they were expecting their second child on Instagram in November.

Jason and Jordan have been married since January 30, 2009. They welcomed their first child in 2015.
Jason has a podcast with Kevin Smith called Father’s Day and he talked about being a dad to Logan and how he and his wife wanted to expand their family.
“We discussed it and believe it or not, we discovered something interesting. As a woman, when you reach 35, you are considered geriatric for having given birth. That being said, we found out when she was having one of her regular checkups,” she said.
“We tried and she wants to try, and we’re going to try now. At this age, 35 years old, if it doesn’t happen, we’ll let it happen.

And Jason assured Kevin that the purpose of the podcast would not be to talk about him and his wife trying to get pregnant.
“I actually started to get emotional because I realize I’m telling you this for the first time, but she’s pregnant,” the Dogma star said.
“He’s been amazing with Logan, and yes, number two,” the father-of-two added.
