Jax Taylor Reacts to Brittany Cartwright’s Announcement about Their Marriage
In a surprising turn of events, Jax Taylor has responded to his wife Brittany Cartwright’s recent announcement about their marriage. On February 29, Brittany took to the couple’s podcast, When Reality Hits, to reveal that they were “taking time apart” and living in separate homes. This revelation left fans shocked and wondering about the future of their relationship.
Just a few hours after Brittany’s announcement, Jax spoke with Page Six to clarify some of the details surrounding their situation. When asked if there was a chance of reconciliation, Jax responded, “Of course, I mean this is not divorce, but just taking some time apart, just trying to reassess our situation. And we have a child involved, and we want to just do what’s best for our kid.”
Jax further shared that they are currently “trying to figure it out.” He emphasized that their separation is not fueled by animosity but rather a natural progression for a couple who have been together for nearly a decade. “This is all fresh and new, it’s not evil and nastiness, it’s just two people that are hitting a 10-year mark in their relationship, and it could go one way or the other,” he concluded.
Contrary to Brittany’s statement about living apart, Jax revealed that they are currently residing together in their home. He clarified, “We’re actually together in our home right now. She was in a house for a while, but yeah, she’s back now.”
Brittany had opened up about their separation on the podcast episode, expressing the need for space for the sake of her mental health. She assured listeners that she doesn’t know what the future holds but her focus is on being the best mother to their son, Cruz. “I love you guys. Pray for us,” she concluded. “And everything will be just fine.”
Jax and Brittany’s relationship has been a rollercoaster ride since they announced their engagement in June 2018. They tied the knot just over a year later at the Kentucky Castle on June 29, 2019, with NSYNC singer Lance Bass officiating the ceremony. Their wedding was prominently featured on Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules, captivating viewers with its grandeur and emotional moments.
Now, more than four years into their relationship, Jax and Brittany’s future remains uncertain. Fans will have the opportunity to see more of the couple’s journey when Season 1 of The Valley premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, March 19, following a new episode of Vanderpump Rules. For those who miss the initial airing, episodes can be streamed the next day on Peacock.
As fans eagerly await further updates on Jax and Brittany’s relationship, one thing is clear – their love story is far from over.
