Jax Taylor, known from Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” has clarified that his recent separation from Brittany Cartwright is not a divorce. In a recent interview with a reputable TV website, Taylor revealed that despite announcing they were “taking time apart,” they are still living together in the same home. The couple’s split comes nearly five years after they tied the knot in 2019.

Living Under Separate Roofs
Speculation about their separation arose when Taylor and Cartwright were spotted living separately. However, Taylor clarified that although they were living separately for a period of time, Cartwright has since moved back in. Taylor also added that their split is still fresh and new, emphasizing that the couple is trying to figure out their next steps.
Best for Their Kid
One of the reasons Taylor and Cartwright decided to take time apart is their shared concern for their child. The couple welcomed their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, in April 2022. Taylor assured the public that their separation is not driven by evil or nastiness, but rather by the challenges that arise as a couple nears the 10-year mark in their marriage. Their primary focus is to ensure the well-being of their child.
Their Journey Together
Taylor and Cartwright’s relationship developed in the public eye, as they starred on Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” and had their own spinoff, “Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky.” However, their recent separation marks their first reality show appearance in several years since stepping away from Bravo cameras. The couple are also part of the upcoming “Vanderpump Rules” spinoff series, titled “The Valley.”
