The Argentinian Javier Mascherano is the guest for the Yellow Night of 2021 with the Barcelona SC jersey. According to the announcement of the bullfighting club, the Albiceleste World Cup player is scheduled to arrive in Guayaquil on February 13, but the Boss is already “counting the days” to arrive.
In a video shared on the social networks of the Ídolo del Astillero, Mascherano greets the fans of the bullfighting team and talks about his interest in arriving in Ecuador for the commitment.
“Hello Barcelona fans! We are counting the days to travel to Ecuador, to the only night where the sun rises. Big hug! ”, Says the sixth guest of Barcelona SC for this type of event.

Mascherano has an extensive track record, in which titles in Argentina stand out since his debut with River Plate in 2005; then he went to Brazil to add a star with Corinthians and, after a stint in the Premier League, he arrived in Spain in 2010, where he consolidated with Barcelona FC and added 19 crowns between local tournaments, Champions League and Club World Cup; In addition, he is the player with the most appearances in the Argentine national team, with 147 games, until his retirement from the albiceleste in 2018.
In November 2020, the Argentine announced his retirement from rented football, for “personal sensations”, according to Mascherano, who closed his career at Estudiantes de La Plata.
The Jefecito assumed in January the Department of Methodology and Development of the Argentine Football Association, with a comprehensive program for youth teams.
