No, Hollywood star Jason Momoa has not joined the cast of Peaky Blinders. This 1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom II is actually his car, and the actor chronicled his transition to electric power in a documentary series called On the Road.

The tuning team carefully removed the 7.7-liter six that was originally installed under the hood of the car and replaced it with a 93 kWh battery. The electric motor produces 204 hp, which is about four times that of the 1929 engine. Then its power ranged from 40 to 50 hp.
However, converting such an old car to electric power is not so easy. Electrogenic had to modify a lot of things. For example, the craftsmen had to rack their brains over how to improve the brakes.
“The Phantom is a pleasure to drive and performs the way Rolls-Royce engineers would have wished it a century ago if they had the technology available to us today,” says the Electrogenic boss. “He is silent and graceful.”
