Millions of fans have been waiting for quite a long time Dune, but in September the time has finally come. ‘s new movie Denis Villeneuve will then be seen in Dutch cinemas, but actor Jason Momoa already let it be known that that is not ‘the version’ he wants to see.
Despite the fact that the film lasts no less than 2 hours and 35 minutes, that is not enough, according to Momoa. The actor wants the extended version of Dune and is already making a plea to publish it.
Long version
According to Momoa, who plays the legendary warrior Duncan Idaho in the film, there is a four to even six hour long version of Dune. According to the actor, known as Aquaman in the DCEU, the long version lends itself perfectly to a TV series.
This is how the 42-year-old actor says: ”It’s a fantastic film, but one thing could be better in my opinion. I would like to see the four to six hour long version. Maybe not like a movie, but like a TV series, so you can decide for yourself whether to watch it in one sitting or not”.
”So I’d love to see Denis’ full vision. In fact, I don’t want Dune to be shortened at all”.
Do you hope that the long version of Dune is released?
