Anyone who expected Kaczyński to examine his conscience during the PiS Congress must have been severely disappointed. If someone believed that Kaczyński had drawn conclusions and would admit that, for example, privatizing the Justice Fund and reforming the justice system carried out by Zbigniew Ziobro et consortes, or going into a head-on collision with the EU while basing the election campaign on the motive of Donald Tusk repeating on TVP “für Deutschland ” was not, to put it mildly, optimal, will also be disappointed.
Jarosław Kaczyński claims that Donald Tusk’s government is dismantling Poland
It was exactly the opposite. Jarosław Kaczyński is convinced that he and his formation did not make any mistakes, Poland was experiencing a golden age under PiS rule, and the current coalition’s coming to power is the result of a misunderstanding and German support. In other words, everything was fine, only some Poles didn’t understand it.
Kaczyński still believes that only two situations are possible: either Poland is ruled by PiS, or there is no Poland. The current government was presented by the president of PiS almost as an occupation authority; once the methods of the current government were compared to the Third Reich, and many times – to the communist authorities of Poland. According to Kaczyński, Tusk’s government is dismantling the state in every field, and it is doing it not only because it does not know how to govern, but also because it pursues foreign interests.
