Atlético Jardín América defeated Belgrano from El Alcázar as a visitor and is thus the first semifinalist in the Puerto Rico Regional League. The other matches for the quarterfinals were suspended due to climatic issues.
The cast of Jardín América became strong as a visitor, they knew how to quickly recover from the defeat on the last Tuesday in the classic against Timbó at home and beat the representative of El Alcázar 4-2, ranking among the top four in the contest.
Although the local cast took the lead on two occasions, both goals converted by Gabriel Ramos, the visit was able to match the actions in the first half with the conversions of Leandro Martínez and Kevin Rojas, so they went into the break tied 2 to 2. In the second stage, the wolf from Jardines converted another two goals, thanks to Hugo Troche and Leandro Martínez again, to win 4-2 and qualify for the semifinals.
As for the other commitments scheduled for today, they were suspended due to inclement weather and will take place on Tuesday in case it doesn’t rain.
