On Saturday, April 22, the “Japfest Riga” spring session meeting of Japanese car and motorcycle owners organized by “jdm.lv” will take place at “Arenas Rīga”. More than 200 Japanese car owners will take part in the event, creating an opportunity for the wider public to view car projects built by both amateurs and professionals.

During “Japfest Riga” it will be possible to see rare Japanese cars that are almost impossible to meet on the street everyday, for example, the only “Nissan Cima” imported from Japan will arrive in the Baltics, as well as “Datsun 280z”, also known in the car world as “Fairlady Z”. . Also, such classic Japanese cars as “Nissan Skyline” and “Silvia”, “Toyota Supra” and “Chaser”, “Lexus LS400”, “Honda S2000” and others.
Spectators will have the opportunity to see Japanese car projects, starting with cleaned, restored standard cars, ending with improvements that triple the car’s power and rebuilding for use in amateur and professional car competitions.
Participants will arrive from 10 am, but visitors are invited to look at Japanese vehicles from 11 am to 3 pm. Various activities are also planned for the event, including car limbo, or the lowest car competition, as well as participants’ and spectators’ vote for the most beautiful car.
