Japan’s Nikkei index opens 0.98% higher, Topix index rises 0.90% in Tokyo

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s benchmark index opened 0.98 percent higher at 32,812.36 points on Wednesday.

The broader Topix index rose 0.90 percent to 2,272.61 points.
