MATARAM, KOMPAS.com – Japanese racer Haruki Noguchi died after having a severe accident at the Mandalika Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Sunday (13/8/2023).
Noguchi died in the ICU at the NTB Hospital, Wednesday (16/8/2023) at 17.35 WITA, after having received intensive care for four days.
“On behalf of the director of the provincial hospital, I would like to express my condolences regarding the driver from Japan, yesterday at 17.35 WITA died,” said the director of the NTB provincial hospital, Lalu Herman Maha Putra, in Mataram, Thursday (17/8/2023).

Doctor Jack, as he is affectionately known, said that during the accident at the Mandalika Noguchi Circuit, he had a fairly hard collision and hit the head area. He also suffered a serious head injury.
“We see in the video that the two riders in front of him crashed and we saw that the Japanese rider hit the head area quite hard,” he said.
“There were many diagnoses, yes, multiple traumas, even though in the end he died but we had time to care for this rider and we continued to pray from the first day of caring for him. I have formed a special team right away, the last one died in the ICU room,” he continued.

Doctor Jack said the health team had carried out the treatment and evacuation of the drivers according to the SOP.
Starting from the evacuation process at corner 10 of the Mandalika Circuit, to intensive care while at the NTB Hospital.
Currently the body of the Japanese racer Haruki Noguchi is still at the NTB Hospital waiting for the agent to arrange the return of the body to Japan.
