Evidently, thanks to Arhan, Tokyo Verdy’s Instagram followers have become the largest in Japan with 300 thousand accounts. This figure beat Iniesta’s club, Vissel Kobe, which was once dashing with a total of 280 thousand followers.
The Japanese media then compared Arhan’s prestige with another top player from Southeast Asia who competed in Japan, namely Channatip Songkrasin. As it turned out, a surprising result was obtained by Arhan.
The defender from PSIS Semarang has a much larger number of Instagram followers than the Thai national team captain. Arhan is recorded to have 2.9 million followers, while Channatip, who incidentally was the best player in the 2020 AFF Cup, only had 2.21 million followers.
“The number of followers on Instagram has reached 2.95 million, surpassing the 2.21 million of Thailand’s national team player, MF Chanathip (Kawasaki). Arhan’s post announcing his participation in Tokyo V has been flooded with more than 10 thousand comments. According to the club, they have has been eyeing the acquisition since August last year,” explained Yahoo Japan.
