Business travelers who are into Japanese cuisine have yet another reason to look forward to a trip to Düsseldorf.
The Takumi, friends of ramen, sushi and co. surely a household name, opens in the me and all lounge on Immermannstrasse.
With the “Takumi plus” another location of the popular Düsseldorf restaurateur Haruhiko Saeki opens. The me and all hotel with its Japanese-inspired design and location in the heart of Düsseldorf’s “Little Tokyo” is the perfect new location.
Itadakimasu – Guten Appetit!
In the me and all lounge, authentic dishes such as traditional ramen, sushi of the highest quality and Japanese finger food such as gyoza (deep-fried dumplings with various fillings), yakitori skewers or edamame sticks are now on the menu, which can be viewed digitally using a QR code is. “The special thing about Takumi’s dishes are the real Japanese recipes that are not tailored to European tastes,” says hotel manager Sven Pusch, enthusiastic about the new local hero. Many ingredients are specially imported from Japan for this, such as ramen noodles, which undergo a special ripening process.
There is also a strong and tasty broth in which vegetables and algae are cooked for hours and then seasoned with salt, miso, sesame or soy sauce. This is then literally topped with the fine ramen noodles and vegetable tempura or teriyaki chicken.
Enjoy Nippon in a private setting
For even more authentic Japanese enjoyment, the me and all hotel düsseldorf offers the opportunity to enjoy a private meal with up to four people in a hotel room furnished as a separate room. Separées are common in classic Japanese restaurants and the me and all rooms with their design with lanterns, bamboo wood and cherry blossom panorama wall provide the perfect setting. For 50 euros per person, guests get a menu with a Bentox filled with starters such as Edamame and California Roll and, as a main course, a choice of veggie tempura, roast duck breast, teriyaki salmon or Wagye beef (30 euros extra) with rice and miso soup.
