In the 41st week of 2024 (from October 7 to October 13), 852 new Toyota cars were sold in Russia, which allowed the brand to return to the TOP 10 of the Russian car market after a long absence, reports AUTOSTAT . The last time Toyota was among the top ten in March this year was last week, LADA confidently held the first place in terms of sales volume with an output of 9,527 units. It is followed by Chinese brands: Haval (5156 cars), Geely (3530), Chery (3067) and Changan (2316). The remaining brands in the TOP 10 sold less than a thousand cars: Belgee (919), Toyota (852), OMODA (852), Jetour (837) and EXEED (737). It was the RAV4 crossover and the Camry sedan, which accounted for about 70% of total sales. At the same time, there are currently no official deliveries of Toyota cars to the Russian market. In total, 36,504 new passenger cars were sold during the reporting week, which is 26% less than the previous week.
