SUCH – Japanese fire departments have been ordered to investigate the fire safety of about 30,000 office buildings, said Japanese Interior Minister Yasushi Kaneko. These are buildings that have one stairwell. The investigation comes after 24 people were killed in a fire in the city of Osaka on Friday, in a similar office building.
