Las Reinas del Caribe, the Dominican Republic’s senior women’s volleyball team, lost 3-2 to Japan, in the Nations League, a blank event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which start from July 23 to 8 of August.
The Japan team recovered from 0-2 and swept in three consecutive sets to win this Friday in five close games. The sets ended 25-18, 26-24, 22-25, 16-25 and 15-11. The fair takes place in Italy.

The defeat puts the Quisqueyanas with 7-6; They are in the seventh position of the fair while Japan achieved their victory number 10. The Dominican struggles to reach the semifinals and be among the first eight of the fair.
