Japan Airlines (JAL) recently unveiled its new A350-1000 aircraft, which entered operation earlier this year on the New York (JFK)-Tokyo Haneda route.
Japan Airlines (JAL), a member of the oneworld airline alliance, has started the phased deployment of its new international Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on flights between London (LHR) and Tokyo Haneda (HND) (JL044/043). This initiative aims to improve in-flight comfort and provide a more personalized experience for its customers.
The introduction of JAL’s latest mainline international aircraft marks its European debut, offering customers in the region the opportunity to experience completely new cabin interiors and seating arrangements in a four-class configuration. The use of this cutting-edge, fuel-efficient aircraft also facilitates a reduction in CO2 emissions by 15-25% compared to previous international models.
Initially, the JAL A350-1000 will serve the London – Haneda route (JL044/043) every other day. On days when the A350-1000 is not operational, JL044/043 flights will continue to be operated using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Please note that hours are subject to change.
Japan Airlines (JAL) recently introduced its new A350-1000 aircraft, which began operations earlier this year on the New York (JFK)-Haneda route, now with two flights per day (flights JL003/004 and JL005/006). Additionally, these aircraft also operate daily on the Dallas Fort Worth-Haneda route (flights JL011/012).
In an effort to improve customer experience and promote sustainability, JAL is replacing its international fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs with state-of-the-art A350-1000 aircraft, which offer superior comfort along with improved environmental performance. To date, Japan Airlines has received six of the thirteen A350-1000s on order, demonstrating its commitment to adopting more advanced and environmentally sustainable aircraft.
