TRIBUNJOGJA.COM, SLEMAN – District Health Office Sleman noted, from January to July 2022, there were 196 reported cases Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).
One of them died.
The patient died from the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito from Kapanewon Mlati.
“Total DBD until July 2022 (there are) 196. Died 1, in Kapanewon Mlati,” explained the Head of Disease Prevention and Control, Health Office SlemanDr. Khamidah Yuliati, Tuesday (2/8/2022).
It was previously known that one DHF death in Kapanewon Mlati was experienced by a small child, aged 8 years.

Yuli said, from the total accumulated cases DBD, 7 cases occurred throughout the month of July. Most cases this year were found in Kapanewon Mlati.
“Because (Mlati) is a city area, with a high mobility community,” he explained.
Yuli explained, patient DBD from Sleman can be bitten by the Aedes Aegypti mosquito due to several factors.
Among other things, because of the environmental conditions that become a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
It could also be due to mobility.
