I am Januariy Vichev, representative of the “Left View” Movement in the “Levitsa” grand coalition, and I am fighting for your trust in the local elections to be the regional mayor of Primorski district and your municipal councilor.
I followed with interest the absentee debate of the candidates for mayor of Varna from GERB, PP-DB, BSP and PP “Vazrazhdane”. And not one even mentioned the 16-year-old wound of our maritime capital – the landslide on the panoramic road to the resort. “Golden Sands”. Apparently, its repair and restoration are not in the plans of any of them.
My years have grown a lot, but I continue to dream about the creation of our city. Here, we had a unique panoramic road by the sea to the resort. “Golden Sands”, which has been closed by a large landslide for twenty years. Although in a deplorable condition, mainly due to the criminal negligence of the municipal and state authorities, the road is still there. Over the years there have been partial repairs, such as patches, but in some 300 meters an ugly gaping hole cuts it off in the most picturesque place.
I believe, our common dream is alive, dear citizens of Varna, to revive it. That is why I will fight to the end, as your representative in the municipality of Varna, the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“The panoramic road to “Golden Sands” cannot be repaired, because according to the current legislation, construction activities cannot be carried out in the area due to the “Trifon Zarezan” landslide. This is what we are told every time by the Municipality of Varna in response to many inquiries from citizens. in the last 10 years.
This is not true!
There is a way to make it happen, as long as there is a will and a plan to work. Besides, dreamers are also a force!
Here I will put a photo from the 70s of the last century to remember the incredible beauty of the road, which both passes meters from the seashore and is in a unique longo forest. Does it make sense to tell you what such a road infrastructure means for the development of tourism in Varna?
