Starting from the field of the La Parota Sports Unit of Amayuca, this Saturday the film “For universal accessibility” will take place, in order to make visible the problems experienced by people with disabilities in the municipality of Jantetelco, this within the International day of persons with disabilities.
The appointment is at 9:30 on December 3, people will arrive at the La Parota football field, from where a few minutes later they will leave for the main streets of the town until they reach the municipal seat. The route will be almost six kilometres, which will culminate in the town hall zocalo in front of the municipal presidency.
“This is the second universal accessibility walk-shot, commemorating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Participants will be able to carry out the tour with some yellow, neon or black clothing, as well as some badges or posters ”, commented the deputy director of the Directorate of Disability of the municipality, María José Domínguez Aragón and added: “We must give visibility to the rights of people with disabilities.”
The official explained that, arriving at the esplanade of the municipal seat, three wheelchairs will be delivered to some children and glasses to people with visual impairments.
The round is expected to be led by local athlete Jorge Luis Rivera Ramírez, 14, who recently raised the name of his municipality and state, achieving three medals in para-athletics, within the Paranational Games CONADE 2022, held in Hermosillo, the state capital of Sonora during the month of November.
At the end of the ride “A video will be made so that the disability pension becomes universal… the different conditions in the sector will be made visible, awareness will be raised by raising the voice for all the violations of rights, given that there are no inclusive schools or adequate infrastructure”Added Domínguez Aragón.
