Already this weekend 17.-18. In July, the Nike 2021 Low Football Slovak Championships will take place in Košice. A total of 68 teams will take part in the championships, of which 56 in the main category and 12 in the over 40 years category.
Košice is the capital of Slovakia for small football in 2021. In addition to the next weekend we will meet the best team of Slovakia in small football for the year 2021, in November there will also be held in Košice European Football Championship.
The title of Slovak champion will be defended by the Bratislava FC BPN this year, when they defeated AsGuard Security Košice 1: 0 in the final. The third place was taken by Atletico from Trnava last year.
Everything under the scrutiny of Ladislav Borbély
Another motivation for the players can be the fact that the head of the bench of the national football team, Ladislav Borbély, will also take part in the championship in person. The coach will definitely closely monitor the players’ performances and may find someone new to the national team. It will also be a lot for players who are in the wider staff of the national team, because not everyone will be able to present themselves at the European Championship at home.

Atletico Trnava, which was bronze last year, will also come with several representatives who, together with this year’s selection of Trnava, also rejoiced in bronze in the Nike Super League.

A big favorite will also be the VOKUP klim Prešov team, represented by representatives Juraj Kuhajdík, Martin Kapráľ, Adrián Hricov or Tomáš Mikluš – all four competed for the Slovak Republic at the 2019 World Championships in Australia.
