Before Janny was told by her surgeon that it was wrong, the television producer already suspected a dark brown. “My gut feeling had already prepared me,” she writes. ‘The results of the pathological examination took a very long time to arrive and, moreover, the sutures of the removed birthmark had burst open’, she explains about an operation she had to undergo earlier.
During the bad news conversation with the surgeon, Janny’s head started to rattle. When he calls back a day later and shares the plan of action with her, Janny is relieved. “This doctor is worth gold.”
Janny mainly tells her story with the message not to let the GP send you away just like that, as happened to her. Weeks later, she only pressed a replacement for a referral. “Trust your gut,” it says All of Holland Bakesjuror now. “Be alert to your body.”
Janny has now undergone surgery again. “A skin graft was done from my neck.” She is confident that it will ‘stay at this point’ and she will be able to soften her scars and new patch of skin with make-up in a while.
Janny has of course been a permanent fixture in All of Holland Bakes, the Omroep MAX program that has been a ratings gun for years. She has no intention of stopping anytime soon. She talks about it in the video below.
