After a hesitant start and a two and a quarter hour marathon in the middle of the night Jannik Sinner beat Mackenzie McDonald in the round of 32 on the indoor court of the Palais Omnisport in Paris-Bercy. The Italian tennis player (number 4 in the world and in the Paris draw) beat the American (number 42 in the world) with the result of 6-7 7-5 6-1. The Italian will now have to challenge the Australian Alex De Minaur for the round of 16.
