In Sunday’s round of 16 meeting, as the eighth seed, he dealt with Daniel Elahi Galan from Colombia in three sets 7:6 (4), 6:4, 6:3.
His opponent in the fight for the semi-finals will be the Russian Roman Safiullin. On Sunday, he defeated the 26th player “spider” Canadian Denis Shapovalov in four sets 3:6, 6:3, 6:1, 6:3.
