Marjolein Welling – Since a week the life of Janneke* (20) from Geleen has been turned upside down. In broad daylight she was intimidated by an aggressive man at Geleen-Oost station. To warn her friends, she wrote a post on Facebook, which was shared almost 1,500 times. Thousands of reactions and questions in local politics were the result. “The reactions do me good, but I am also concerned: so many girls feel unsafe on the street.”
