The most beautiful Christmas songs of Latvian composers will be performed at the concert by wonderful artists – Aija Andrejeva, Marts Kristiāns Kalniņš, Jānis Šipkēvics, Jānis Aišpurs, Līva Kalniņa, Kristiāna Stirāne, Elvijs Bušs, Jānis Miltiņš, Valters Spružs, Kaspars Kurdeko and Agate Ozolina.
Heartfelt Christmas concerts of the musicians association “Near You” were performed in churches of Latvia, and the New Year was welcomed. Enthusiastic and grateful to have met their listeners, the artists offer another opportunity to indulge in the musical miracle of “Near You” on January 6 in the excellent Early Baroque architectural monument of the Skaistkalne parish, which is experiencing a revival: the Skaistkalne church.
On Star Day, playing songs by Latvian composers, the performers will invite everyone to feel the warmth of the heart, give it to everyone who wishes and remember that it is actually needed every day throughout the year! Music is what encourages us to become brighter, more spiritual and more sensitive to the people around us.
