The young artist Jana Amr Diab urged her followers to watch the second round of the episode of the American journalist, Piers Morgan, during which he hosted Bassem Youssef.
Jana published a post on her official Instagram account, in which she expressed her anger at the continued killing of civilians in Gaza and what the Palestinian people have been suffering for years.
Jana commented on the current events, saying: “Let me start by saying that I am not a politician and I am not a journalist. However, I am a human being and as a human being I understand right from wrong. My amazing Palestinian friends and their family, over the years of knowing them, we have communicated together to find out what is happening in Palestine for many years.”
She continued: “I was sitting and listening and knowing all the information and I felt oppressed by what the Palestinian people have been suffering for years, and now we are here and I am watching Gaza being bombed and innocent people being killed because of a crisis that has not been resolved since 1948. What is happening in Gaza is wrong and I stand with all the civilians who have been killed since 1948.” Until 2023, including October 7, and those responsible for everything that happens are those in power.”
She added: “I am not afraid to talk about what is right and what is wrong. I care about my people and all peoples in general, and I am pained by what the media does in objectifying Arabs. The lives of Arabs are as important as the lives of Jews. Arabs are not terrorists. We are characterized by compassion, generosity and passion.” We care about people who deserve to be cared for.”
She continued: “The occupation of Palestine must stop. It is one of the terrible things that happened due to unfortunate accumulations from 1948 until 2023. The death of innocent lives should not be the subject of discussion and must not happen.”
She ended her comment by saying: “I will leave you with Bassem Youssef, a wonderful Arab who is intelligent and kind. He said in his conversation with Piers Morgan (Believe me, Piers, it is not like that. The West does not view us as equals. Arab lives are as important as the lives of all human beings. They should not be secondary damage and we will not be silent.”) .
“Jana” supported the Palestinian cause and denounced the Zionist entity’s continued bombing of the Gaza Strip and the killing of thousands of families and children. She published a picture on her official Instagram story and commented on it, saying: “I pray that one day the children will wake up to the sounds of birds and not bombs.” She also posted A video clip in which I explained the attempt of the Western and Zionist media to distort the reality of what is happening in Palestine.
Jana recently revealed her contract with Interscope, an American record company, to announce the start of her professional singing career, following in the footsteps of her father, the star Amr Diab.
It is noteworthy that Jana Diab’s latest song was titled “So Stupid” and she published it through her various accounts on social networking sites, including Instagram.
