For six weeks, many candidates competed to participate in the grand final. One person had known for weeks that he could be there, that was Jacob Derwig. “The pressure is enormous,” he says. But Martin Visser and Frank Heinen were also visibly stiff with nerves.
It was up to Derwig to answer the first questions. The men went hand in hand for a long time, with a small lead for Frank Heinen. Even after round three, the writer managed to maintain this lead. But unfortunately Derwig takes the first place from him at the end of this round with 186 seconds.

In the decisive round it becomes clear for whom the third place is. Martin leads for a while with 207 seconds, but in the end he is the first to drop out. Good news for Jacob and Frank, they are still in the race to achieve that coveted first place.
The denouement is approaching and the two remaining participants can hardly stand it anymore. And the final was blood-curdling. At one point, the two had only one second difference on the counter. In the end Frank Heinen was unable to name anything on the last question about bellowing, so that Jacob Derwig beats him with three correct answers. That makes him, as the first actor ever, the smartest of this season. The actor receives the trophy from the previous winner, comedian Lisa Loeb.
