Doha: Slackline walker Jan Roos has set a new record by completing an adventurous walk on the Katara Tower, which rises to the sky like a crescent moon. Red Bull World Champion Jan Roos fearlessly walked the 185m high, 150m long rope connecting the two ends of the building.
Jan Ruse’s adventurous walk was between a mere two-and-a-half-centimeter-thick rope and the linear light of the attached LED lights. For the promotion of Qatar tourism, Jan walked along the slackline stretched in the sky like a light thread bridge in association with Visit Qatar. The world of social media greeted Jan Roos who completed the adventure by balancing with both hands up and upside down with his feet. Jan Rouse’s attempt also holds the record for the world’s longest LED slackline walk.
