On April 12, in the live episode “It’s Worth Talking”, the invited guests clearly criticized the government’s methods of fighting the coronavirus, including the vaccination program. The broadcast of the next episode was canceled, and Pospieszalski stopped appearing on TVP. The TVP Ethics Committee issued a position in which it concluded that in “It’s worth talking” the principles of journalistic ethics have been broken.
Virtual Media found out that the program will not come back in the autumn TVP schedule. – I think that Janek Pospieszalski ruled out himself, fueling the anti-vaccine hysteria and attacking the government’s fight against the pandemic – he tells the portal Jacek Kurski, the president of television. He adds that on the side of the editorial office of “It’s Worth Talking” and Pospieszalski himself, there was “a complete response to this matter”. Pospieszalski recently launched his own YouTube channel, where he regularly criticizes the government’s actions on the coronavirus and COVID-19 vaccination.
– There must be some social discipline. If public television will exhort and persuade people itself that what the authorities propose in dealing with the coronavirus is a mistake – then nothing will come of it. All the fight, all the effort will be wasted. This is a certain irresponsibility. Therefore, Janek Pospieszalski unsubscribed himself from public television – Kurski points out in an interview with Virtual Media.
