Channel Zero is a 1.2 million subscribed YouTube project, whose main idea is popular sports journalist Krzysztof Stanowski. It brings together commentators and experts from many fields, and its materials have been viewed over 220 million times. As a new workplace, it has so far been associated mainly with attracting new names. Finally, however, the time has come to say goodbye.
Jan Lorenc leaves Channel Zero
On July 26, journalist Jan Lorenc announced his departure from Channel Zero. He indicated via the X platform that it was his choice. “I ended my adventure with Channel Zero today. Almost a decade ago, my father gave me this book,” he wrote, attaching a photo of the cover of “Stan futbolu”, a book by his former boss devoted to the general subject of football.
“Little did we know then. Today, when I received the farewell dedication, the author asked me to choose a more ambitious reading. I will miss that, Krzysztof Stanowski. See you soon!” – he concluded his farewell post.
Such enigmatic explanations could not be enough for Internet users. Users of the X platform asked what was the main reason for leaving. They tried to find out if the journalist had received a better job offer. “It’s my own decision, I need a good break,” he answered shortly, still not satisfying the public’s curiosity.

Krzysztof Stanowski is currently an extremely popular journalist and internet creator who comes from sports media. He is the owner of, among others, Grupa Weszło, has his own sports club KTS Weszło, and until recently was the co-owner of the Sports Channel. This last project, after Stanowski left it, began to record significant losses in terms of the number of subscribers and – above all – video views.
