“Chantal does her thing. And this is not perceived well by some people. Anyone who wants to have fun must be able to open up,” explains Decorte. “Chantal was eccentric, but mostly in love. She was in love with everyone around her,” says Decorte. That, he said, was the source of the magic on set. “The whole crew was on board with that love, you can feel it in everything that happened with that movie.
“Akerman is above Belgian cinema, she’s an international model. It’s a fun film, but it’s also dangerous to watch and fun enough to enjoy. Sit back and watch,” Decorte advises everyone.
