Islamabad: in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday An aircraft-shaped balloon was found with the logo of PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) printed on it. A mysterious black and white colored balloon was found lying on the ground in Hiranagar of Kathua district. The security forces seized the balloon and started a search operation in the area to find out where the balloon came from.
In February this year, a green and white aeroplane-shaped balloon with the PIA logo was seen in an apple orchard in Shimla. On 20 May, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel said they shot down a Pakistani drone in Amritsar and seized a bag containing suspected narcotics. Last day, BSF intercepted four Pakistani drones along the International Border (IB) in Punjab and shot down three of them.

Prior to that, on April 1, BSF jawans fired on the Indo-Pak international border in 41PS check post area in Raisinghnagar area of Sriganganagar due to apprehension of movement of Pak drone on it. Heroin smugglers from Pakistan on the border often send drugs to the Indian border through drones. Due to this apprehension, the Border Security Force and the Rajasthan Police of the border area are always alert.
