Then I remembered that between 2005 and 2009 Geagea accused Syria of killing Hariri and other assassinations, and today he is accusing Hezbollah!!
In the 2005 elections, Geagea was in a tacit four-party alliance with Jumblatt, Berri, and Hezbollah in confronting the tsunami of General Michel Aoun!!
And that Geagea participated, shook hands, and sat next to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in the 2006 dialogue!!
And that Geagea participated side by side with Hezbollah in all governments in 2005, then in 2008, then from 2016 to 2019!!
And that in 2016 he voted for Hezbollah’s presidential candidate, General Aoun, and concluded a Maarab understanding with him!!
Today, in the current parliament, Geagea’s deputies share with Hezbollah deputies in all parliamentary committees, and they joke like brothers!!
What is the secret of Geagea’s declaration of this war today?!!
Simply put, Geagea sees today developments and fluctuations in the region around us that may indicate new divisional climates, especially between Syria and Iraq and others, and he is betting on it in Lebanon and riding its wave as if it is already happening.
Thus, as every time he bet and made a mistake, in 1975, 1983, 1988, 1990, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2019, until yesterday…
Today, Geagea considers that his bets are definitely profitable, and he dreams of them from As-Suwayda to the Euphrates and Deir ez-Zor to Idlib and Kurdistan to Jordan and others, and he sees it happening and closer to him than his jugular vein…
But he is mistaken, and I am one of his advisors who he did not listen to between 1991 and 1993, and I say in order to save losses and tragedies: that the equations of this time differed greatly from the past, and that someone else today owns the papers while you are riding the wave, and the difference is vast between the owner of the papers and the rider of the wave, and that your opponent is in The past was strange. It was Palestinian or Syrian. It was expelled from Lebanon by international circumstances, not you. Your war that you are waging today is against another Lebanese like you.
