Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT that he doesn’t think Antonio Conte will take over Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Tottenham midfielder, who now works as a talkSPORT expert, doesn’t see Conte leaving Inter Milan for Spurs this summer.

A report in Corriere dello Sport this week claimed that Tottenham president Daniel Levy wants to appoint the former Chelsea boss as his new manager.

The Spurs are reported to have already met with the 51-year-old to succeed José Mourinho and have even discussed how to improve the current squad, as covered by HITC Sport.

O’Hara told talkSPORT: “I think if Tottenham had Antonio Conte they could keep Harry Kane, he’s a brilliant coach.

“He won the Premier League title with Chelsea and he did get it out, but that’s what Chelsea does. It is their culture. He went to Inter Milan and there he also won the league. He is a superior manager.

The expert added: “I think we should go for Antonio Conte or Brendan Rodgers, but the Spurs are living in cuckoo land right now… we are suitors! We haven’t won anything!

“We are one of the top ten soccer clubs in the world, financially, but we haven’t really won anything! How did we do it ?!

“So we have to be realistic at this point, and I think being realistic is getting a Scott Parker or a Graham Potter and seeing where that takes us. Personally, I would like Antonio Conte, but I don’t see it happening ”.

Inter have just won Serie A and plan to once again become a force in European football.

Conte has done an exceptional job at Inter, and it’s no wonder Levy reportedly wants him.

The Italian is one of the best tacticians out there. The 51-year-old won Serie A three times with Juventus, the Premier League and the FA Cup against each other with Chelsea, and also led Inter to the Europa League final in 2019-20.

Tottenham are a huge club, and if Levy can convince Conte that he will be given time and money to spend, then the Italian could make the switch.

After all, Levy was able to bring in another highly successful manager in José Mourinho after the departure of Mauricio Pochettino.

In other news, Gunners fans want a six-time title winner as Arsenal manager… and he doesn’t have a club.
