Just like a lot of other movies has Halloween Kills due to the corona crisis also suffered a considerable delay. The sequel to Halloween from 2018 would normally premiere this month, but it was delayed by a whopping one year. Leading actress Jamie Lee Curtis says we will be rewarded, however.
The film from Blumhouse Pictures and director David Gordon Green naturally brings Michael Myers back to the silver screen. Curtis can be seen again as ‘scream queen’ Laurie Strode. Recently also appeared the new trailer and in a recent interview, 61-year-old Curtis spoke out about the film.
Interview
”The movie isn’t all about Laurie StrodeCurtis begins. ”The story takes place in a powerful country, where many things go wrong. People are angry and come together to resist and to speak up. That’s what the movie is about, a crowd. And that is going to be very interesting”.
”We will see how trauma affects an entire community, something we often see today with the Black Lives Matter movement. Despite the fact that the Halloween Kills script was previously written, it really does depend on it and can be linked to everything that is going on right now. It’s a really intense movie. It’s a masterpiece”.
Halloween Kills is now scheduled for October 15, 2021 and Halloween Ends should be visible from October 14, 2022.
